National Coming Out Day is an annual awareness day that exists to support, empower, and celebrate LGBTQ+ community members. It encourages individuals to embrace their true selves and live openly. To help foster community and provide a safe space for individuals to be "out" on campus, Penn State's Center for Sexual and Gender Diversity hosted a Coming Out Day Celebration in recognition of the date.
